Posted by Some great news from Tokyo DisneySea: The Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel exit gate is now open to ALL guests. That means if you’re staying at any of the non-Disney on-site hotels, such as Hilton Tokyo Bay, Sheraton Tokyo Bay, Hotel Okura, or other hotels you can now use this exit gate to leave the park much faster. There’s some important information you need to know about using this exit, so keep reading to find out.
The most important bit of information is that this exit is only open and available until Tokyo DisneySea’s closing time. That means even if you are one minute late, you have to walk all the way to the front of the park, and take the Resort Line back Bayside Station. If you’re familiar with Tokyo, walking from Fantasy Springs, through the park, and to the entrance to Tokyo DisneySea it’s about the same distance as walking from Harajuku station to Shinjuku. So if the park closes at 9:00 PM, be there before that time.
It will be interesting to see how this changes the dynamics of the park at the end of the night. Large crowds form at the Tokyo DisneySea Disney Resort Line station (aka the monorail) when the park closes at the end of each night. Using the Fantasy Springs exit will now allow guests to get on the Resort Line at Bayside Station, which is just outside of the Fantasy Springs Hotel exit. Previously, empty Resort Line trains would arrive a Tokyo DisneySea station, which is at the front of the park. But now trains could be filled with people exiting at the back of the park via the Fantasy Springs Hotel exit.
Entry into Tokyo DisneySea via the Fantasy Springs Hotel entrance is still exclusive to Fantasy Springs Hotel and Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel guests.
This change is fantastic for anyone staying at Tokyo Disney Resort’s on-site hotels, such as Hilton Tokyo Bay. Leaving to go back to your hotel will now be significantly easier. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
